“ I'm a Japanese food enthusiast that regularly goes to Japan to done at some of the most awesome restaurants in the country. When my friend made a reservation here for a catch-up dinner I had no idea what to expect, but left a very happy man. The service was intimate (just the sushi bar), and the service was excellent. We did the full omakase course, and spent over three hours enjoying the sushi and a few bottles of sake and shochu. The chef has been in the industry 35 years, and has worked in Japan, the US, and Mexico. Accordingly, he speaks Japanese, Spanish, and English fluently. An interesting guy to get to know during your experience. It's not cheap, but for the quality and experience it's a good investment imho. I'll be back. ”
“ Excellent omakase and super authentic edomae style sushi. Chef was kind and helpful in explaining each step. We enjoyed our visit and look forward to returning. ”
“ Best sushi I have had in Mexico by a mile. Rivals some of the best omakase restaurants in NY. No frills in terms of interaction with the sushiya, but they are laser focused on serving you an impeccable meal from start to end. Small, but nice sake selection as well. ”
“ An authentic omakase experience in CDMX. Very high quality fish and I had several that were new to me. You even get to choose your own cup if you order sake! For anyone that doesn't know, omakase means you get served one thing at a time and the chef decides each course. ”
“ Perfect sushi experience. Wonderful staff. Cozy atmosphere. Each bite was mind blowing. Favorite was the crab, tuna belly, and the scallop with caviar. ”
“ Incredible Omakase experience at half the cost of the US or Europe. We took the omakase with Japanese and Mexican fish. The head chef was very attentive, and a pleasant conversationalist (Japanese, Spanish, and English). Highly recommend to anyone. ”
“ What a gorgeous place with exquisite food and excellent staff. Everything is perfectly attuned and this is a true gem for Japanese food in Mexico. The place has an intimate and familiar atmosphere as it has pace for up to 12 people. We had the set menu and every dish was delicious and prepared in front of our eyes. Really enjoy the concept of watching while the food is being prepared and learn more about the ingredients and preparation methods. I think the pictures speak for themselves and communicate well our food experience which was absolutely worth it. Overall, can highly recommend this place to everyone who enjoys good Japanese food in a intimate environment. It’s a nice area to walk around and there are plenty of parking options nearby. ”
“ Absolutely amazing restaurant. We got the omakase B & a small bottle of sake. It was expensive, but a bargain for the price, given the quality of the food & service. So many different kinds of fish! All delicious & expertly prepared. We couldn’t be happier. Highly recommended. ”
